For the second assignment of Theories of Asian Architecture, we were tasked with a group assignment, where a team of 6-7 students were to create a poster and presentation video addressing contemporary issues in Asian architecture. Our project was titled, "Preserving the Identity of Jalan Petaling: Reviving the Architecture, Traditional Business and Community."

Our group project focused on addressing the issues with Jalan Petaling. Through meticulous research and on-site investigations, we identified challenges such as traffic congestion, inadequate pedestrian facilities, and poor waste management. Collaboratively, we sought innovative solutions, including traffic rerouting, improved pedestrian infrastructure, and waste management campaigns. Our aim was to enhance the overall experience and sustainability of Jalan Petaling, fostering a more vibrant and inclusive urban environment.

Reflection
The final outcome of our poster presentation encapsulated the findings and solutions for the issues on Jalan Petaling. We visually depicted the research data, showcasing traffic patterns, pedestrian flow, and waste management statistics. The presentation recorded our comprehensive analysis and proposed solutions, highlighting the importance of traffic rerouting, upgraded pedestrian facilities, and community engagement in waste management. The poster served as a powerful tool to communicate our research, raise awareness, and inspire action towards a more sustainable and vibrant Jalan Petaling.
